I can’t believe my Dad is 60! He sure doesn’t act or look 60. The party was awesome. I didn’t get to take much video because we always get into these discussions and wind up talking for hours and laughing. Especially me and my Aunt Marie. Her and I could go on for hours about nothing. We’ve always been close; we just lost touch after we both had kids.
I got to see my other Aunt, Janice. I don’t get to see her much either, she works a lot. And my cousin Mary. My 6 other cousins whom I barely recognized. My cousin Brian, my cousin Janette and Jerry and Billy my Dad’s cousins who are like my second cousins or some crazy shit! My brother John was there with my nephew Matthew. He’s getting so BIG! 2 this summer!
It was nice. I miss family parties. I miss my Grandmother, she would have loved that. She always loved family gatherings. And she loved my Dad so much. She used to dote on him something awful. She was always so proud of him no matter what he did. She raised a good man…and a great father!
